Kenji
Gender: Male
Age: est 3 years
Purrsonality: Feisty and bossy but loving towards those he’s familiar with
Better in a single-cat household
Kenji is a large handsome ginger boy who looks cuddly and adorable.
He was found possibly abandoned near a condo, and his rescuer attempted to rehome him but the endeavour failed as Kenji and their resident cats could not get along.
Sociability/ behaviour: Kenji has a lot of love to give, and like all cats he loves and deserves kindness, soft strokes and lots of scritchies. However, he is an anxious cat that can be reactive through scratching and biting when he is overstimulated or overcome with anxiety. Unfortunately, because of this, he developed a reputation for being “fierce” and “scary”.
He needs a very patient, understanding and loving adopter who will see him for who he is - not a “trouble-maker” but a scared, troubled cat trying to adapt in a challenging situation.
He has improved in leaps and bounds - now he can be carried by those he’s familiar with, and he enjoys kisses, strokes, friendly words and lots of play-time.
He’s also VERY food-motivated and prefers kibbles over wet food!
Health: Kenji is FIV and FELV negative. He is in good health.
