Suitable for: Someone with an active lifestyle. He LOVES his walkies! (Or maybe we should say, runnies…)

Background: Venus has been in the shelter since birth as his mum was rescued when pregnant.

Sociability with humans: This lil dorky boi is a bit shy when meeting new people but once he gets to know you - be prepared to be flooded with attention and affection!! This guy loves his human!

Sociability with other dogs/cats: Selective with other dogs, unknown with cats. Though generally ok with most calm dogs, Venus would prefer to be the only dog in the family as he will want ALL of your attention!

Health conditions: Our boy has been exposed to Ehrlichia & Anaplasma phagocytophilum (tick-related bacterial infections, not contagious), otherwise he is healthy. Venus will need at least half yearly vet checks, to stay on top of his health.

Fun fact: “Car rides are nothing to me!” We’ve never seen such a chill dude in a car… in fact he seems to like it! :D
